May of 1994 marked the opening of our first Sure Hair International clinic in Toronto. We now have three hair loss clinics located throughout the greater Toronto area, with a state of the art surgical center located next to Humber River Hospital, at Highway 400 and Finch.
Our first treatments offered for those suffering hair loss were non-surgical hair systems. The year 1996 saw the introduction of microscopic techniques to the field of hair transplant surgery, and that spurred the Sure Hair International research team to begin exploration of current and new hair transplant procedures.
Since then, we have performed more than 1500 successful hair transplants, without one case of hair failing to grow. We are understandably proud of our success. Sure Hair Toronto now serves as a teaching facility for outside surgeons desiring to learn our patented UniStrand® method of surgical hair transplantation. Dr. Nelson Ferreira, who joined Sure Hair in 2005 and serves as our Medical Director, is the developer of the UniStrand® method.
